Biography

Oyetade, Michael Oyebowale, a Reader in the Department of Religions, Faculty of Arts of the University of Ilorin, was born on 12th November, 1958. His administrative experience includes: Level Adviser Department of Religions, University of Ilorin 2013 to date, Member, Faculty of Arts Welfare Committee 2020 to 2023; Departmental Secretary, Department of Religions, University of Ilorin 2016 to 2019; Member, Departmental Public Lecture Publicity Committee 2015 to2016and presently the secretary of quality assurance and monitoring committee. As a researcher, his academic focus lies in the field of Christian Studies, particularly Language and Literature of the New Testament. Presently, Oyetade has twenty-one publications which cut across local, national and international.
